About Joan and Jerry Hawk

Forty years of slow, patient collecting.

Joan and Jerry are both retired geologists living in historic Bedford, Pennsylvania. They started out with nothing and bought their first antique, a quarter-sawn oak hall chair, in 1987. In those days, before the internet, finding original 19th-century décor meant traveling extensively to bring the right pieces home.

Fast-forward to today, and they are proud of what that long, patient work has built.

    A lifetime of collecting

    Best-of-the-best antiques since 1987

    Lasting value

The right antiques appreciate quietly over decades

Pieces chosen carefully for craftsmanship, provenance, and condition tend to hold their worth, and often grow in value, as the years pass. Forty years of buying selectively has made that plain.
